We develop specialist skills within the Administration to turn knowledge potential into concrete, fundable projects

Training actions on topics related to European project design

Our targeted training offer is designed to meet the various needs of the Administration: from MiC Institute staff approaching direct European funds for the first time, to those who wish to deepen advanced European project design techniques. The main Capacity building actions concern:

Multimedia modules

The Grant Office has created multimedia modules, aimed at providing operational tools and practical guides to promote and facilitate the participation of the Administration’s institutes in European direct funding calls. The courses created are as follows:
  • Module 1 – Budget and reporting for directly managed European projects
  • Module 2 – The Funding & Tenders portal: opportunities, tools and access to EU funding
  • Module 3 – Communication and dissemination The modules were produced in collaboration with the National School of Heritage and Cultural

Basic courses

The basic course is designed specifically for Administration staff approaching the world of direct European funding for the first time. Participants have the opportunity to explore all phases of European project design, guided by experts in the field:
  • Overview of EU funds: Focus on Creative Europe, with concrete examples of funded projects.
  • Design techniques: From ideation to drafting the proposal.
  • Practical simulations: Analysis of calls for proposals, drafting of abstracts, filling out forms and building partnerships.
Methodology: The course alternates theoretical sessions with practical exercises, using a “learning by doing” approach that allows concepts learned to be put into practice immediately; we use real case studies and project writing simulations.
Advanced courses
The advanced courses are designed for those who have already acquired basic skills and wish to specialize in specific aspects of European project design or deepen their knowledge of innovative project management techniques. The topics of these courses include:
  • Advanced Project Management: techniques for managing multi-partner and multi-national projects
  • Reporting and Compliance: administrative and financial management of European projects
  • Impact Assessment: methodologies for measuring and communicating project results
  • Communication and Dissemination: strategies to maximize visibility and impact
  • Negotiation and Strategic Partnerships: how to build and manage winning international alliances
  • Innovation Management: from idea to implementation of innovative solutions
