Networking
We connect people, institutions and ideas to build strategic partnerships and win European challenges together
Actions aimed at building relationships with external stakeholders
Networking activities are carried out by the Grant Office with the aim of building a professional community that shares values, goals and the passion for turning ideas into excellent projects for culture and cultural heritage.
The intent is twofold: on the one hand, promoting MiC institutes as potential partners for submitting project proposals in response to European funding, and on the other, promoting the role of the Grant Office as the Administration’s point of reference for European project design.
The networking initiatives promoted by the Grant Office are characterized by an innovative format:
We organize structured networking events to facilitate discussion on European project design topics for cultural heritage and the cultural and creative sectors, to inspire participants – MiC institutes, associations, foundations, businesses and research bodies – to collaborate dynamically to create a network of interconnected stakeholders and possible partnerships for accessing European funding for the cultural and creative sectors. The events organized have been designed as:
- Speed networking: short bilateral meetings between institutional representatives and private operators
- Networking café: participation tables and facilitated discussion.
- Pitch sessions: Short presentations to showcase skills and completed projects
Participation in External Events
We constantly monitor the European landscape to identify strategic events useful for:
- Meeting potential partners for future projects
- Gathering information on emerging trends and opportunities
- Strengthening MiC’s presence in European networks
