Dissemination activities on EU project management and design
Through this area of activity, the Ministry of Culture’s Grant Office aims to provide Ministry staff and external audiences with updated information on European policies, funding opportunities and developments related to directly managed EU programmes. Through communication and knowledge-sharing activities, the Grant Office promotes awareness, cooperation and participation in European cultural initiatives. The main communication initiatives include:
The Grant Office Newsletter is the main communication tool for keeping Ministry of Culture staff informed about EU opportunities, ongoing EU-funded projects and the latest developments in cultural EU project management.
The newsletter includes:
- Open calls for proposals: a curated selection of relevant EU funding opportunities for the cultural and creative sectors;
- Key deadlines: an updated calendar highlighting important application deadlines;
- Featured projects: in-depth presentations of European projects involving the Ministry’s institutions;
- Success stories: examples of successfully implemented projects and their results and impact;
- Training and events: information on our courses, webinars and networking activities;
- Thematic focuses: in-depth analyses of specific EU programmes, such as Creative Europe and Horizon Europe and others.
Thematic webinars
The thematic webinars organised by the Grant Office are open to both Ministry staff and external audiences.
The topics addressed cover a wide range of issues, from cultural cooperation in the Mediterranean region and the complementarity and synergies between EU funding programmes, to the Innovation Community initiative for the cultural and creative industries and the role of culture and creativity as drivers of territorial development.
